Presented is an American sterling silver flask made by the Gorham Company. One side of the flask is decorated with a pair of elaborately-chased roses and accompanying foliage. The other side is decorated with a large, intertwined, multi-lined cipher style monogram that appears to be "ENB." The base is marked with the Gorham logo marks, "STERLING/140" and a stamped Maltese cross, the Gorham date mark for 1886. The top is hinged and has a slight dent. It measures 7 1/8 inches by 4 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.
