This rare pattern has been featured recently in Silver magazine. The Japanesque taste was very important in developing this pattern. The crumb knife measures 12 5/8 inches and is marked with the Gorham logo marks and "STERLING" on the back of the stem. The front of the stem is decorated with a large catfish, several smaller fishes, a swirling wave and seaweed pattern. The back stem is decorated with an applied crab. The blade has an ornately engraved bird resting on a curving branch. Condition is excellent.
