This American tea caddy was made by Tiffany in the "Wave" pattern. The body is highly polished and decorated at the lower third with a repeating, sinuous, high relief pattern.
Details:
The underside is marked "TIFFANY & CO./ 11976 MAKERS 4423/ STERLING SILVER/ 925-1000/ m (in Old English script)/ 2."
It measures approximately 4 inches in height and 3 inches in diameter at its widest point.
Condition is very good, with minor surface scratches and 2 pinpoint dents. There is no monogram and no evidence of monogram removals, repairs, or replacements.
