This paper knife has an ornate cast top with a floral, foliate, and scroll pattern. The front is engraved with an ornate, multi-lined, Art Nouveau style script with "1893," "EAE" in intertwined script, and February 5th/ TO/ March 9th." The back is engraved in script "I must be going." Condition is excellent, with minor surface scratches throughout.

The handle of this shoehorn, made by George Shiebler, is decorated applied sea creatures and seaweed. The front of the blade is engraved with a monogram.

This bookmark looks like a small letter opener and may be a combination bookmark/letter opener. A nice object with good weight. It has a subtle wave in the blade.

A French silver purse, circa 1865. Both sides nicely engraved on the ribs. The pink silk lining is in reasonable condition with some breaks on the pleated joins. 2 3/4" x 2" x 1/2".

A chatelaine belt hook made by Tiffany in the Aesthetic Style. The design date is 1877. Made between that date and 1891. The surface is hammered.

A chatelaine hook made by Tiffany in the Aesthetic Style. The hammered surface is applied with two silver leaves and copper stems. The upper leaf is either partly gilded or the gilding is showing signs of wear.

A European silver mesh purse, the frame decorated with birds and airplanes. Although chatelaine coin purses of this type are not rare, I have never seen one with aeronautical decorations before. The interior is divided into two compartments.

An sterling shoehorn made by Gorham, date marked 1917. Finely chased on both sides. This shoehorn is exceptionally heavy and finely made. It has never been monogrammed. There is a very small dent on top.

A very rare 14k gold napkin ring. This finely made napkin ring is engraved through a frosted yellow gold surface to rose gold. Engraved with the initials 'JL' and the dates '1856' and '1906'. Undoubtedly a fiftieth wedding anniversary gift.
