English Box

An English box, Birmingham, 1811-12. Marks divided between lid and box. A maker’s mark of ‘WP’ appears in a rectangular strike. The lid and base are engraved a design of circles surrounded by dots. Interior gilded. 1 1/4″ x 3/4″ x 1/4″.
